Executive Leadership
Dr. Jessica Parker is an educational leader with over 25 years of experience in public, charter, and homeschool settings. Holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s from Dallas Baptist University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. A passionate advocate for school choice and parental rights, Dr. Parker is in her third year as Superintendent at Mountain City Christian Academy, guiding students to become Christ-centered leaders. She and her husband, Jeremy, have three children, two in college and one at Mountain City. In her free time, she enjoys reading, scuba diving, and snow machining, always eager to inspire others through her faith-driven vision.
A lifelong Alaskan and proud member of the Aleut community, Mrs. King is deeply committed to equipping the next generation of Christ-centered leaders. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. With over 30 years of experience in education, more than 20 of those in leadership roles, Mrs. King has served across a broad range of grade levels, from elementary through high school. She also holds an Administrative Certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Mrs. King views education as a powerful vehicle for cultivating leaders who influence and shape culture through a biblical worldview. She and her husband, Joe, are the proud parents of two children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, conducting research, and spending quality time with her family.
Mrs. Smith is a proud lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Anchorage. She is an alumna of Anchorage Christian Schools, having attended from kindergarten through 12th grade. Her deep-rooted connection to ACS extends to her family. Her husband and their three children are also graduates, making ACS a cherished part of their family legacy.
Mrs. Smith holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Family and Consumer Science, as well as a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. She is certified in school administration through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). With over 16 years of experience teaching elementary students and three years in school administration, Mrs. Smith brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and heart to her role. Outside of school, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and whenever possible, relaxing under a palm tree.
